DTC U1000 posted in Just plain ol BS Ok guys, I'm hoping someone on here is a Nissan Tech or has a friend that is I've got a 06 Nissan Xterra with the U1000 DTC I've read up on it, seems to be a bad ground connection somewhere that causes electronic havoc, no start etc Internet forums say its some ground wire that comes lose, gets Nissan OEM HID, Morimoto bulbs/harness, RacingLine Ypipe, Strut Brace, Stillen Swaybar, ETI LED Fogs, BBK PowerStop Powder Coated Calipers M45 Front/Stock Rears w/ StopTech slotted sport rotors BOSE Headunit w/USB & BT (12 update), Dunlop Signature HP (summer) / Blizzak WS80 (winter)Nissan dtc u1000 It refers to a class 2 communications failure generally this code will precede an additional code that identifies the module or area of the failure Most auto repairs shops charge between 75 and 150 per hour The trouble code u1000 is a vehicle specific code primarily found on chevrolet gmc and nissan vehicles
